Chris Foy

Global Head of Operations

Chris joined Equinoxe from JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services (formerly Tranaut). He joined Tranaut in 2002 and played an essential role in establishing their operating policies and procedures. Subsequent to the acquisition of Tranaut by JPMorgan in 2004, Chris, with responsibility for the newly functionalised portfolio accounting department, was integral to staff recruitment and roll out of standard operating procedures for both middle and back office services. Before joining Tranaut, Chris was a Fund Accounting Manager at BISYS (now Citi) and also Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank/State Street). Chris was previously an audit assistant at Lipsky, Goodkin & Co. in New York. He has over 13 years experience in the hedge fund industry. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting majoring in International Business from Fordham University in New York.

Kim Thorpe

Corporate Compliance

Kim Thorpe joined Equinoxe USA from MadisonGrey, LLC where she held the position of Assistant Vice president of Corporate Compliance. She was responsible for all facets of the corporate compliance programmes, including drafting of client contracts, licensing and vendor agreements and corporate governance programmes. Prior to joining MadisonGrey, Kim gained more than 10 years of legal and compliance experience within the financial services industry, serving with Amvescap Retirement Inc (formerly Invesco) from 1998 to 2004 and in the last four years as the Legal and Compliance manager and Chief Compliance Officer of its broker-dealer subsidiary. Kim is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a BA in Political Science and Communications.
